DinwenduAs part of its In-Country/In-Region Scholarship Program, the DAAD awards full-time masters and doctoral degrees in Sub-Saharan Africa to students pursuing their studies in their own country or in another country within the region.
In addition to setting up a network of researchers between Sub-Saharan African countries, the program promotes the capacity building of universities in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Under this program, master’s degrees and PhDs are awarded for selected degree programs in development-related and SDG-related fields at selected Sub-Saharan African institutions. Sub-Saharan African students receive scholarships for study and research within their home country (In-Country) or in another Sub-Saharan African country (In-Region).
